New clients
Welcome to the Nebraska Equine family
Finding a veterinary clinic you trust matters. Here's what to expect when you bring your horse to us for the first time.
Getting started
Four steps to your first visit
- Register online
The new client form puts your contact, horse and barn details in our system before you arrive.
- Send your records
Bring any medical history you have. We can request records and radiographs from your previous vet by email.
- Book a time
Call or text 402.408.6777, or request an appointment online. We'll find a time that works.
- Visit with us
Haul in to the clinic or have us come to your farm. Payment is due at the time of service.
What to expect
Clear answers and a plan you understand
Our veterinarians, technicians and staff will take the time to explain what we find and what we recommend. We stay in touch however works best for you, by phone, text, email or in person, so you always know how your horse is doing.
Some cases call for a specialist with advanced training in areas like internal medicine, lameness or surgery. When that happens, we'll refer you to the right one.
Our hospital is clean, efficient and built around the comfort of your horse. The coffee's on in the reception area.
Payment options
Payment is due at the time of service
- We accept cash, check, money order and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- We accept CareCredit.
- For emergency services, payment arrangements are made with our office at the time of service.
- We don't bill insurance companies directly. We'll give you the paperwork you need to file a claim for reimbursement.
- We ask all clients to keep a credit card on file in case you can't meet the doctor at your appointment. Invoices and receipts are emailed to you.
